Once the warmer weather arrived, it was time for our family to start enjoying outdoor activities. Our eight year old would spend day and night outside during this time of year if we let him. Last weekend when we went on their first official camping trip of the season, he begged to stay two weeks. I can’t really blame him. Who doesn’t love the relaxing sounds of nature and being outdoors?
During this camping trip we took a new lantern to try out. L (my four year old) still is a little unsure of the great outdoors once it starts getting dark. He doesn’t cry to go home or anything like, but he does insist on going into the tent and not coming out until sunrise. Trying to find things to get him more comfortable in the outdoors at night is very important to us. Our eight year old loves sitting around the campfire telling stories and I hate missing hearing his imagination run wild while I’m in the tent with L.
The lantern we have tested for the past two weekends is the AYL StarLight 330 LED Lantern. Seriously we are loving this little guy, I hang it up in the tent and can read the little guy his bedtime stories, we can put his pj’s on and can see everything with no problems! It’s also super durable which is nice..once again with two boys, if it isn’t durable then chances are it won’t last in our house.
