When I was pregnant with Jace I joined an online Mommy group. One of the best things I did. Mommies from all over the country (and one from Cananda!) join together to support each other. I have learned so much from these Gals! The idea of a balance bike was introduced and I was on the fence. I had never heard of a Balance Bike before. This was totally different than my way of thinking. So when I approached Strider for a review I was excited to see how this would work for Jace!
About Strider No-Pedal Bikes
If your toddler can walk, your toddler can ride a STRIDER
My Thoughts:
Jace was so excited when his bike arrived. He begged his Daddy to assemble it. Wasn’t to much work and only took a few minutes to be out of the box and ready to go. There is definitely a learning curve for this. He had seen his big brothers peddling so he actually asked where the peddles were. Then he walked the bike around the living room. I noticed that within a few weeks he already had figured out how to sit back and walk the bike. I know it is just a matter of time before he will be mastering the bike and coasting around. I personally love the concept now. No peddles to mess with so you learn the balancing needed for 2 wheels instead of relying on training wheels. I honestly can’t wait for the fall weather here in the Northeast so we can spend more time outside and he can really get a hang of it all. (It has been a brutal summer of hot weather or rain!)
