Summer Gardening Fun With Growums

I stumbled upon Growums when I was looking to build my first garden.  I was wondering how I could get the kids involved.  We didn’t have a ton of room to start our whole garden in our house but they have little starter sets that were perfect!  We received the Herb Garden to try out.  It came with a little tray, seeds, labels and growing pellets.

Our Thoughts:

Xander and I worked on this project together.  We loved watching the pellets (soil) grow.  He put the seeds in and has helped me water it through the weeks.  The kit was super easy to set up.  I thought it was a fun learning experience to see the seeds sprout.  Right now all but one of our plants has sprouted.  We just need to replant that one and let it have a little more time.  I loved the Growum videos we watched (you get this free once you register your garden.)  Each has showed us what the next step is in fun entertaining way.  We are on the step of acclimating our little plants to be able to survive outside.

Starting to see Sprouts!
About 3 weeks in.
About 4 weeks in! Hard to see but all have sprouted but one.  We were away and haven’t replanted that one yet!
