Svan Scooter Review

I love wooden toys, and I am proud to say that my son loves them too. When he has to pick between a battery operated toy and his wooden toys, the wooden wins out every time. Which I think is fantastic, because I love to encourage him to use his imagination. Imagination play is so important in a child’s development.

Recently we had the opportunity to try the Svan Scooter, and let me say that it is a fantastic little ride toy. The shape of this scooter allows children to use their imagination and make this ride toy whatever they would like it to be. My son has pretended that it has been everything from a horse to a truck.

Not only is this toy great to play with around the house, but because if it’s light weight, size and carry bag this also just went on vacation with us.

The sculpted curves of the bent birch wood Svan Scooter provide a safe and sturdy seat for children 12 to 36 months of age. My son can maneuver the birch wood scooter so easy and he loves that it has what he calls a “backseat”. This is where he places his bears so that they can join in on the fun too. The Svan Scooter also meets all ASTM F963 safety requirements for ride-on toys, plus there is now assembly required. It’s one of those fantastic toys that come out of the box and are immediately ready for play!
