Swatch Watch Review

I am extremely excited to bring to my holiday gift guide a super cool watch from Swatch.  The reason I am excited about this is because not only do they make affordable and cool Christmas gifts, but you can create such great memories with them.

I remember when I was around the age of 10 I actually got my first Swatch watch ever for Christmas. I would say at that time Swatch had been around for probably 3-4 years. I thought the Swatch watch that I received was the coolest thing ever!  It had the band that went across the face of the watch and well ofcourse all the kids had one.  This was actually my “Santa” gift from my parents and they hid it on the tree.  I had no idea that it was there, but to hear them tell it they had it hanging there for awhile.  That particular year they had suggested that we take the tree down that morning which was unusual.  Luckily I located the watch before too many ornaments were taken off the tree.  I wore this watch for a very long time and sadly lost it in the ocean one year at the beach.

Just in time for the holidays and for making more memories, Swatch has came out with some great watches at affordable prices.  We were lucky enough to be able to try the Paint Splattered Groove Move Swatch Watch.  It is absolutely adorable and not only did this particular design appeal to my teenage daughters, but to my mother as well.  It is just one of those watches that have the perfect design to have fun with!  This watch is made with kids (and adults) in mine with its buckle closure, numberless dial and on top of that being water-proof. This particular watch can be purchased for around $55 and is so worth it!

A Little About Swatch From Their Site

For many years, new developments have been taking place alongside the standard Swatch watch in plastic-from Irony (the metal Swatch) to the Swatch SKIN Chrono (the world’s thinnest chronograph) to Swatch Snowpass (a watch with a built-in access control function which can be used as a ski pass at many ski resorts throughout the world), and Swatch Beat (featuring the revolutionary Internet Time).

The Groove Move watch as well as others in the same price range can be purchased online at Swatch.com as well and several retailers nationwide.  So why not make this Christmas a Swatch Christmas!
