How many times have you dumped out an entire pot of coffee or half of a pot of coffee simply because it is only you or for some reason everyone got busy and just didn’t finish the coffee. Personally I hate the thought of wasting anything and yes coffee falls into that category.
Over the course of a few weeks our family has had the opportunity to use the Tassimo Single Serve Coffee Maker by Bosch. I have to admit that I love this little guy! When it first arrived I wasn’t sure how much I would like it. The only reason was because it was different than what I was used to and ofcourse the figuring out how to work it didn’t help much. But now it has a special little place on my kitchen counter.

Tassimo offers some of my personal favorites when it comes to a hot beverage selection. I have always purchased Maxwell House Coffee and Starbucks in the past and I love that these are readily available in the T Discs. Speaking of Starbucks, I wanted to throw in there that Tassimo and Starbucks just recently launched two new single-serve coffeehouse-style beverages: Starbucks Latte Primo and Starbucks Cappuccino Primo. I have personally tried the Cappuccino Primo and it is wonderful!
So are you wondering what a T Disc is? The T Discs are the little container that the coffee/tea is in and each T-Disc contains a bar code. The Tassimo is designed with a microprocessor that reads the bar code printed on each T Disc label to automoatically calculate the correct water amount, temperature and brewing time for every beverage. It is different depending on the beverage you are making. I have yet to readjust any of the of the products I have used. I think one of my favorites right now is the Chai Tea Latte. It is out of this world. It actually is a two part process. You first put in your T Disc that has the Chai Tea in it and once that has finished you put in the T Disc that has the cream. It is so easy and makes a perfect cup every time that I often have that as a dessert drink every evening.

Ingredients
2 TASSIMO GEVALIA Espresso T DISCs
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Cocoa powder
Directions
Prepare two TASSIMO GEVALIA Espressos and pour into a heatproof glass or mug. Place one scoop vanilla ice cream in the same glass. Sprinkle lightly with cocoa powder and serve immediately with a spoon – glorious! Makes one serving.
