Synopsis:

My thoughts:

When I read about this book, I have to admit that it sounded pretty awesome. I loved the fact that it was written by a young person and immediately upon reading her bio, I knew I had to check out the book.

First off, this is a really cute story and the suggested age range is 8-12 years of age which is perfect. I really wanted to love this book, but I had a hard time getting into it. My eight-year old however, really enjoyed it, and in the end..that’s what really matters.

For me, the flow of the book was just a tad off, and in some areas there was a lot of detail. Not that detail is a bad thing, but you can have too much at times. However, the story is really good and the characters are fantastic.

While this book isn’t a favorite of mine personally, I am definitely going to keep my eye out on this talented young woman. Without a doubt, she has a bright future ahead of her.
