Winter Waltz
Arnaud’s French 7S, New Orleans, LA
Yields 1 Cocktail
2 oz (60 ml) Bulleit Rye Whiskey
½ oz (15 ml) Amaro Averna
¼ oz (7 ml) St. Elizabeth’s Allspice Dram
2 dashes DeGroff’s Pimento Bitters
Star Anise, for garnish
Add all ingredients except garnish into a shaker. Shake and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with Star Anise.
What We Thought:
This book really wowed us! My husband and I both enjoyed looking through this book and even ventured out and tried new bourbons based on the ratings in the book! This would make an awesome gift for the bourbon enthusiast on your list! I could easily see paring this book along with a bourbon for the absolute perfect gift!
