The curiosity that children have about the world around them is so fun.  My boys a
re always asking questions and always want to know facts about things. No matter how small or big, it’s all important to them.  That’s why recently we had the opportunity to review the Time For Kids: Big Book of Where I just couldn’t resist.

Big Book of Where

This book is filled with awesome facts and my six year old can’t get enough of it!  Even my two year old has pulled it out and listens to me read some of it.  I also see this book being pulled out through the school year to add to some of our homeschool lessons.

The reading is short, but very informative. It’s broken in down into ten chapters which makes it easy to find the subject you are curious about.  Here is the break down.

  • Home
  • North America
  • South America
  • Europe
  • Asia
  • Africa.
  • Australia and Oceania
  • Antarctica
  • The Oceans
  • Space
Out of all these, my son had his top three chapters.  Chapter 1, 2 and 10 are his favorites and the things that he is most curious about right now.

Fun Questions

The Big Book Of Where is very colorful, has easy to read maps, spectacular, eye-popping photos and clear, engaging diagrams that make the book really come to life!  It helps answer such questions like where is:
  • tallest mountain?
  • did the Olympics begin?
  • is the Petrified Forest?
  • are diamonds found?
  • was the hamburger invented?
  • spam go after you delete it?
I can’t say that this is just a fun read for kids because both my husband and I have really enjoyed reading and sharing the information with our kids.

If you are looking for a way to keep them learning through the summer months, I promise Time for Kids Big Book of Where would be a fantastic addition to your home library.
