Back-to-School has arrived which means that cooler weather is just around the corner, and have you heard that Umi Shoes has awesome new styles for the upcoming cooler weather. My boys love their Umi Sandals for summer months, but with winter coming we always pick up a pair of Umi sneakers or boots.
Umi Shoes Fall Line
Recently we had the opportunity to test out the new fall line of Umi Shoes and were very impressed. I chose my youngest son to review the fall line. He is super active and can really put anything to the test when it comes to durability.
We chose the Henley boot for him since most of his pants are boot cut and what little boy doesn’t love being like their daddy, right? He was super excited when they arrived because they were boots just like his daddy. The Henley boot is very easy to put on. In fact, my two year old can put them on himself which makes him feel like a big boy. As with all Umi Shoes, these run very true to size and I love the fact that they aren’t narrow. Honestly, I have yet to have a problem with the sizing. My six year old can wear them perfectly and he as a slender foot and my almost three year old says they are comfortable as well and he has a thicker foot.
The Henley has durable outsoles, leather uppers, and a hook and loop strap closure. They bend with every step and no worries about having to deal with a stiff shoe when it comes to Umi shoes, and they never have a “break in” period. My boys have never complained that they were uncomfortable at first which I love. No rubbing blisters or sore feet when it comes to Umi Shoes.
For those that aren’t familiar with Umi Shoes, you should really give them a try. I love the fact that every shoe they make uses child-safe materials, like non-toxic drum-dyed leathers and other environmentally friendly materials, and goes through a series of strict quality and safety tests.
