Valentine Rice Krispies Treats

To get the heart shape, I tried two different ways.  The first time I put the rice krispies in a cookie sheet like usual, let them cool and then used my heart cookie cutter to cut them out.  While this worked great, I felt that I had waste. Of course the kids were following in behind me munching on what was left after the shapes had been cut out.
DSC_0976Once I got the second batch mixed, I sprayed my heart cutter with non-stick spray and then pressed the treats into the cutter. Once I got it to the thickness I wanted, I then pushed them out of the heart cutter.  This method took longer than the first way, but the treats looked better and I had no waste at all.
