As you all know, I am a huge fan of VTech. We have the phones in our home, the toys and now I am super excited to say a baby monitor. That’s right!! VTech now has baby monitors.
VTech Safe & Sound Full-Color Video and Audio Monitor
We have been using the VTech Safe & Sound Full-Color Video and Audio Monitor for awhile and LOVE it! We had a cheaper one for a long time and used it but it wasn’t the best. It would always lose signal, took regular batters and just wasn’t the best video quality. Needless to say it gave out on us about 6 months ago and we have been using just an audio monitor which is great but I just prefer to see my kiddos.
The VTech Safe & Sound Full-Color Video and Audio Monitor provides a full audio/visual monitoring solution with up to 1,000 feet of range. Other unique features include a split video screen, enabling simultaneous viewing from up to four separate cameras with the purchase of additional cameras (MSRP: $49.95), along with infrared night-vision as well as a two-way intercom system to let the little one hear parents’ voices, polyphonic lullabies to play and a temperature sensor.
Since it only comes with one camera, I do have plans to purchase an additional one. That way I can keep an eye on both my four-year-old and one- year- old. For some reason, my four- year-old feels more secure in his own room with a video monitor. Since our old monitor died on us, he moved back into our room. However, when I showed him the new video monitor he has decided that it’s time to go back into his own room.

I have no complaints on the VTech Safe & Sound Full-Color Video and Audio Monitor. It has a suggested retail price of $149.95 and I would personally recommend it with 5 stars for anyone looking to add one to their home.
