Our Thoughts:
My husband is the one that’s been trying these shoes. These shoes are very true to size, which is nice. It seems that men shoe sizes can at times be all over the place, but these were spot on. They are very light-weight and comfortable. When he first put them on, he did say they felt weird since they are more of a flatter shoes than the hiking shoes he normally wears basically every day.
For me, however, I prefer a more lightweight shoe and have been seriously considering snagging up a pair of these for myself. I put my foot in them, and compared to my lightweight outdoor shoes that I already own, these felt amazing. Obviously I couldn’t wear them around much since they aren’t even close to my size, but my foot felt happy when I slipped it into these.
These shoes are marketed for the purpose of not only being hiking footwear, but something that can be word daily as well and they have pulled it off. You have the traction that one would expect with a hiking shoe, but you can easily pair these with a pair of jeans or shorts for heading out on the town. I can easily see him grabbing these when we take the boys for a short hike.
