Have you ever heard of Sweetest Day? Legend has it that a candy company employee came up with this day in 1922, because he wanted to add a little happiness to the ones often forgotten.
My husband and I always celebrate Valentine’s Day together, so yesterday I decided to make the Sweetest Day all about my boys. While our boys are never forgotten, we still wanted to make it a special day for them. Just having them in my life, makes my heart happy every day!
We spent the day doing fun activities with them, and wrapped it up with a picnic so they could enjoy some of their favorite foods. One of those favorites is, Shari’s Berries. My eight-year old has been a fan of chocolate covered strawberries for as long as I can remember, and he LOVES Shari’s Berries!
